If you feel that something has gone wrong in your life with your dog, but you don’t know how to deal with it, I invite you to a consultation during which we will discuss everything about your and your dogs life from the puppy stage till today to understand the cause of the behavior and start addressing the situation as soon as possible.

IN WHAT SITUATIONS IS A CONSULTATION NEEDED?

Your dog uncontrollably pulls on the leash in all directions, making your walks hard to enjoy

The dog seems not to hear you

The dog has loads of energy and you don’t know how to handle it

The dog shows agressive behaviour towards other dogs / people

The dog is very fearful, insecure

The dog’s behavior has suddenly changed (for example always been affectionate but now is distant, or always been friendly with other dogs but now growls at them)

If you encounter any other dog behavior that you find disturbing
WHAT DO WE DO IN CONSULTATIONS?

We always look for the cause of the behavior

Together we create a plan with steps to follow (you will receive it in writing to email after the consultation)

For 2 weeks after the consultation, you work with your dog by yourself + you will have trainer support at any time for any unclear questions during the learning process

After 2 weeks, we have a call to discuss progress and understand the next learning steps or adjust the plan.
WHAT ELSE YOU SHOULD KNOW?

Learning is not always easy.

Unfortunately, I cannot offer any magic tool (although I would love to), so you will have to work with your dog every day

We try to create a plan that fits your and the dog’s daily routine so you don’t feel overwhelmed

It is very likely that you and your dog will need additional individual sessions

INDIVIDUAL TRAINING
35 EUR | 1 hour (+ travel expenses if outside Riga)

An individual approach is necessary for every dog. We work only individually with adult dogs to achieve the maximum result in the shortest time. Individual sessions can only be booked after the first consultation.

SOCIAL WALK
10 EUR | 1 hour
(50% of this amount will be donated to the animal shelter)

Dogs are social beings, so spending time together with other dogs is very important. Not all of us have good dog friends, so you can join the social walk, during which you will not only make new friends but also learn a lot about your dog and how a nice peaceful walk should look like.
Dog age: from 5 months

HOW DOES A SOCAL WALK GO?

Socialization does not mean constant partying and playing, but rather spending calm time together. When we meet friends after a long time, we want to hear some update, not go into a crazy party, right? :)

We start the walk at a great distance so the dog has no reaction to others but still has the opportunity to communicate with them
-
We only reduce the distance if the dogs are ready for it

The dogs’ task is to fully enjoy the time with other dogs. Observe, sniff, walk, run, roll, and enjoy themselves.

The human’s task is to let the dog be a dog, no talking, no treats, no commands. We observe our dogs and understand what they are communicating to us so we react accordingly.

We have very small groups (2-4 dogs) so that everyone has the opportunity to communicate (not necessarily being close to others!).

The social walk is not an obedience training session – during the walk we do not learn new skills and do not use commands.
Another important rule: To participate you will need a H-Y type harnesses and a regular leash (minimum 5 meters). If you currently do not have such a leash and harness, I will happily explain what to pay attention to when purchasing and will lend you one.
